Eos magazine

If you're pretty new to photography and Canon it's quite good, but if you've been at it a while there's not much in it for you.

They cover new equipment, but you've read all the info on-line before that issue comes out
There usually a portfolio of some pro's work and a how they took that article.

Acetone: I don't entirely agree with you, but as Editor of EOS magazine I am biased!

Our main content is not news or portfolios, but technique articles. These range from basic to advanced. Many of our subscribers have been with us for many years, so we seem to have found the right balance.

We don't do free trial issues, but if you subscribe and decide that the magazine does not meet your needs, just let us know within 30 days for a full refund.

Hi Robert,

Please make it bigger, as I seem to finish it in 2 hours :-). I have also downloaded all digital back issues. Great reads, and please avoid adding photoshop tutorials. It seems most of the magazines in stores dedicate 3/4 of it contents to photoshop.

I have a code for a free trial electronic copy, I think it was via the Canon Connect magazine.

I haven't picked one yet, so I can't comment on the quality.

Was this a one time offer?

How refreshing to find a magazine thats not bursting at the seams with Photoshop articles. I've nothing against Photoshop, I just don't use it if I can help it, but I prefer a photography magazine to be about photography. If you want Photoshop ideas and articles you should go and get the official Photoshop magazine.
It's sometimes helpful to have small points about Photoshop but there seems to be an over abundance of tutorials in every magazine now and I for one don't want to be paying for subjects I'm not interested in.
