Eos Utility, different version for 1d2 and 5D1?

I've bought a 5D1 and installed the software that came with it which works fine but when I try to connect a 1D mk2 that I'm about to buy to it it comes up "no camera found".
Should I be worried or do I just need to install the 1D's software and use each camera's version of Eos Utility for the corresponding camera?
 
You might need to go on to the Canon website and download a later version than the one that came with the 5D; it's fairly painless to do! :)

The 1D will be coming with all the disks n stuff I think, get the rest of the gubbins tomorrow so if there's not a more up to date version in there I'll download it.
 
Downloaded the most up to date Eos Utility available on the Canon site and still comes up "No Camera Found" when i plug in my 1D mk2.
It's not all that important because I download with a card reader but I'd like to be able to change the personal settings and maybe embed my name in the exif if possible.
I've done a bit of Googling and I think the probem might only occur when using a Mac, I'll get round to instlling Eos Utility on my pc laptop and try it there.
There was also chat of needing to use a firewire cable to connnect to a Mac rather han usb.

Anyone got any ideas?
