Hello all.
last night was taking some shots of a band was going ok then the camera gave an error 02 remove card and replace message and all the pictures i took were lost.
I placed the card back in started again and again same error message.
when i got home i formatted the card on the pc then placed it back in the camera and did another format, took about 150 more shots with no error message.

Should i dump the card? Or could it be the camera thats at fault?

Its a Canon 30d and the card is a kiingston 4gb. Also what are people opinions on sd to cf converters? As i have plenty of sd cards amd also i was thinking that i could always leave the converter in the camera so less chance of bending a pin.
Thanks for any help.

Dump the card IMO. It's not to be trusted now.

If you get these types of problem pictures can usually be recovered from the card - although the chances diminish if you over-write them.

Thanks Richard.
I did try pandora before i did the format but could not recover anything.
I don't think i will buy Kingston again :)

Had problems with a Kingston card myself. Tend to stick to Sandisk these days although there's no guarentee they re any better.
