Error 99 on 40d

As the title says above really, I got my nifty fifty today and stuck in on and immediately got Error 99! After taking the battery out etc and changing lens (did it once on another aswell) it seemed to work fine and hasn't done it since :shrug:

Should I be worried? :|

Its a catch all error message. Often removed by cleaning the electrical contacts between the lens and the body

If you surf the net you should find lots of tips on cleaning the contacts.
