Taken on the London Underground while staying in the city recently.

Took quite a few attempts to get it sharp, must have looked like a bit of a loon!

Oh very clever. Looks like a 'zoom pull' shot but obviously not. Difficult to pull off but I think you have it right - the escalator appears sharp. Nice not to see any people.

Can imagine this isn't easy to get for a number of reasons but your persistence has paid off!

And you're right, it's not always easy to find an empty escalator on the london underground!
