Went for a shallow DOF intentionally to try something different. Found it a little tricky to compose due to the tight nature of the swirl, if that makes any sense. Taken in natural light and didn't remove all the reflection as I wanted to show some texture on the shell. Hope it works. Thanks for looking as always.

I quite like this shot and the colours but it feels off balance to me? Just sitting here at work during my lunch break and turning my head upside down to see if it would look better rotated 180deg?

I think you were right to leave the reflection.

If I stare at it long enough, I could be looking down a spiral staircase (bu that could just be me going mad!)
