Hi there,

My 15 year old son is mad about Japanese cars and being as I had a weekend of not being asked to cover any events we headed off to Santa Pod for the 'Rotorstock6' show. It was pretty wet in the morning which meant no action on the drag strip so we spent most of the day watching Round 5 of the European Drift Championship.

Here are some of my pics:-

1) Very pretty in pink Mazda RX-7

cracking set, i should have been going but couldnt make it.

Was the pics from the spec areas ?

Hi there,

Yep, all taken from the spectator areas, there were no catch fences to worry about and it was one of the most open events I have ever shot at.

Nearly all of these were taken from one of the two small grandstands that had been erected for the weekend.

These are excellent,i really like them all, well done.:)

I prefer the shots 2,4,6 and 7 with cleaner backgrounds.
It is nice to include some scenery but the pod isn't the best looking of places lol.

Great set mate. Especially like #6 (might be biased as I am a Mazda Rotary fan!). Quite a different shot to others I have seen.

Maybe you should ask autofocus' permission before you do anything with them...

Cyclone,

Thanks for the heads up, don't have a problem with them being posted on other forums. As long as the watermark is left on and the poster credits me and my website as well. Something like "images copyright of Tim Dunlop and www.dunlopix.com" would be fine.

Regards

Tim
