A drive out along what is known locally as the World's End road allowed this image to be captured recently.

Bleak and desolate in Winter - I should know, I've delivered post up here - tranquil, calm and colourful in Summer.

Not on this occasion as time and light were failing me. Given the right weather(!) which is not always a 'given' up there, it's a fabulous place to *be* let alone shoot.
