Ever bought a bit of kit you forgot about?

Last year I bought some vinyl and a soft box at the same time.

I used the vinyl (used a beauty dish and reflector) and completely forgot about the be softbox! Went into the garage today and saw it looking pristine. So finally will use it after.....ahem 8 months

So anybody else had a bit of kit they forgot about/not used since purchase, or am I just a silly silly boy (those two may not be mutually exclusive!!)

Brought an Olympus OM4ti and left it around a friend,only remember when another member put up an add for the winder that fit it

i was given a gorilla pod for my birthday in 2010 i have never used it did i mention its my birthday today

Yup, bought one of those crappy plastic flash soft boxes and never used it, also bought a Pixel grip for the D800 that I've only tried once, put in a drawer and forgot about. I remember it every time I see people talk about grips, but then forget as quick. Other various bits and bobs like flash triggers, brackets, hot-shoe cords ... all gathering dust in drawers. I really must gather it all up and sell them on local advert sites.

Had a quick play.....the soft box is perfect for confined spaces in the house and better than the flashbender.

Probably why I bought it in the first place.........
