Thats what it felt like when I had a weak moment and sold my mint Nikon 200-400mm last year. :'(
Its been a long time coming, but finally it should be back in my hands tomorrow. :D
Its quite stupid really how you can miss a lump of glass and be excited because its coming back. But thats how I feel! :love:
I just wanted to share this moment with any fellow toggers who just might understand.....:D
This shot should probably be in the 'nude/glamour' section, but I think we might get away with it.

I'd love that lens - I'm looking at a Sig 120-300 right now as a stepping stone LOL

You will love it. I'm still not bothered about the video, but everything else is simply superb. ;)

I has the same feeling when I sold my 400 f/4DO a couple of years back. I always said I'd have another if I could afford it and find a suitable example and, about 6 weeks ago, I had one again. I know hoe you feel...

You think you love her Kev but she has spilled the beans on you mate. Apparently after every time you used her you stuck a bag over her head and left her in the dark until you fancied having another feel :D:D:D

Had a dream last night. She arrived in the post today and when I opened her she looked like she had been abused by Grimsby town football team.
All dirty and abused and sorry looking. Nothing like when she was in my care. :'(
Not sure I want to go near her. Might catch something...:eek: :gag:

Not going to relax now until she arrives...... :shake:

Well its home now and in as good a condition as it was when I parted with it last year. I'm sure it hasn't been used! I'm a happy chappie now. Will hopefully get to use it on Friday..

I bought a lens from a guy last year, collected it from his house, I asked if he had any others, sorry,no i've just sold my 200-400mm, then I stupidly asked how much he sold it for, well I didn't do too badly on that one, I ordered it new then they phoned me to tell me they had a secondhand one in for £2300 it was mint so I bought it.

I only lost £300 on it when I sold it :nuts:
 
She's a fussy old thing Andy. Not sure she would be willing to do such a thing. We could try plying her with drink and see if she lets her inhibitions go. :D

No I didn't, that's what the :nuts: was for, I only bought a 80-200mm he'd sold the 200-400mm for £2000 before I even knew he had it , he'd bought it secondhand for £2300 a couple of years ago before all the prices went nuts

I wished I hadn't asked :lol:
 
Hi,

I sold my Sigma 500mm F4.5 at the beginning of last year just before the price rises kicked in, it went for £1460 all in which was fine at the time as the new price was £2100, however to buy a new one now you will pay £3800 :bang:

Regret it?

I have just sold my 17-55 2.8 Nikon, and now not sure it was the right thing!!!
