Seems like i'm committing an act of heresy by saying this, but in many if not most instances, i prefer the electronic viewfinder on my x100 over the optical.

That is all!
 
Me too.

In all but almost total darkness I prefer EVF.
 
you probably watch too much TV or stare at a computer monitor so much that you think a pixelated view of life if the normal one. :)

Is EVF vs OVF going to become the new Apple vs Microsoft, or Canon vs Nikon?

I guess that could be called progress.... ;) :D
