Evilbay dodgy deal?

I was scouting for a nikon D300 as a second camera and I was looking at ebay.

I found this seller selling this:

They got three of these to sell, all used. 2 of them include a battery but no accessory include, which i guess is battery charger, strap etc.

and the link i put on doesn't even include a battery?

I was thinking this sound well dodgy deal consider the riot just happen last week and some camera shop been looted as well. I know the seller maybe trustable but the item sound dodgy .......

The seller has a lot of feedback selling Nikon stuff and it goes back quite a while....doesn't look too dodgy to me.

Why is it odd, it costs a lot more to ship (by courier) to these areas. The only "dodgy" thing I can see if that he claims all his stock is refurbished, I get the feeling it's just customer return stuff from one of the big retailers that he's buying untested.

i jsut wondering thats all, because he got several of the same camera to sell but they all only got body and nothingelse included. Also it stated:

"This auction is for the Nikon D300 body only. Although used, it is in very good condition with barely any signs of previous usage. A battery is NOT included. No other items are included. We do not have any details regarding the history of the camera or the number of actuations. "

I'm not question about the seller, but rather the item instead.

i probably won't buy it from them since is still auction and no accessories on the camera so i could end up spend abit on buying batteries, charger etc ....... no rush for me since i'm onyl looking for second camera

And what will that achieve?

If they suspect you may check out the serial number with Nikon and/or the police then they'll probably refuse if it's dodgy. I have all my gear registered with Canon. If any of it gets nicked then they'll keep an eye open for somebody trying to register it.
