I was hoping a few people may be able to help.
Id like to see some examples of people using a ringflash, like the safari from lencarta or similar?

Ive seen plenty of shots from a ringflash but not with any details about the one they used...
 
I've got a ringflash but I've only ever use it for macro shots, and even then only sparingly. Mine's just a basic Marumi flash but it does the job it was made for very well. I'm not sure I've got any shots on the computer that I've used it with as most of my macro shots are outside in natural light anyway.
I did make up a twin head wireless flash when I had an MP-E65 macro lens, but hardly ever used that and it's not really a ring flash.
 
Yes have a look at macro shots as a lot of them use ring flash for macro shots.
 
thanks. i should have been more specific that i meant studio not macro.
thanks for the image links... seems quite a nice light :)
I want to have something portable and not be having to setup studio lights etc.
