On sunday I had ordered a Sony 18-55mm lens from RGBPhoto for a nice deal of £45, I was promised delivery by Tuesday using ParcelForce.
On the same night I had also ordered 9 12x8 prints from Aldi photo service which promised me delivery by wednesday.
Today I got home to find a nice white cardboard package from Aldi and next to it a ParcelForce note saying that no one was in. At first I thought I'd have to go to the HQ but instead it said go to spar (there's a post office there) and pick it up, best of all it was only a 2 min walk
So I got home after getting lens and opened both the lens and prints and I'm absolutely amazed by all three services
1. Aldi - Amazing print quality, looks just like it does on my monitor. Will definitely use again and it came a day early
2. RGBPhoto - Amazing packaging, on time delivery and great prices. Will definitely purchase from them again.
3. ParcelForce - Everyone says how bad they are yet as my first use of them I found them to be better than RM. if RM post a note it means you have to go down to the HQ which is a pain in the arse journey for me however ParcelForce delivered to the nearest post office and on time as claimed
Overall I'm a very happy lad and luckily it's half term for college next week so it will give me a chance to try out my new lens and hang up my prints
