I can't remember the cathedral without scaffolding up around it somewhere! Did you see (or have you seen) the owl that's floating around in the evenings and overnight? Mrs Nod's spotted it going past her studio window at about 8pm a week or so ago (Southernhay) but I haven't seen it yet. One of her early morning teachers has seen it a few times at 06:30-06:45.

One of these days, I'll see if I can get upstairs access to Mol's coffee shop or the Clarence for a couple of shots, unless the postcard shooters have got to them!

Your shot looks slightly skewed but it's probably because of the slight angle it's shot at. Nice dramatic sky behind it.

Thanks. No, it's a Canon 1Ds II with the 50mm f1.8. I do have it set up to slightly underexpose and wind up the contrast just a tad.

I went out with a PL filter today. The sky turned out really nice.
