Can anybody mention a good program to get this from photo's?

I have posted on here in the past and people have been able to get info from my photo's so i was wondering how i go about this.
 
Do you want to view the EXIF in other peoples photographs from within your browser? If so..which browser do you use?
 
Thats a point Phil, This would be interesting FF is the designated browser fur mich :D
 
You can use your copy of CS3 to view the exif info from photos, I use opanda Iexif as an IE addon as well

What it is, a friend has sent me some shots and i was wondering about his settings he is new to this and has no clue what im asking him.
 
I don't know about any for IE, I currently use FxIF fore Firefox and find it to be really really good.
 
Built-in with the Opera web browser (right click, Image Properties).

For checking out email attachments and other files on your hard drive, there's freeware IrfanView http://www.irfanview.com (open image then Image > Information).
 
Thanks folk i gave one of the programs mentioned a go but its saying no exif data on image.

I dont no how he has sent them but it must have removed it.
 
If he used Photoshop and "Save for Web", that will strip all the exif data from the image.
 
Ah, glad I found this thread. I was about to do a google search on seeing EXIF info in firefox after browsing the forums. Just installed FxIF and it is a treat. Just wanted I wanted. Thanks!

I've tried that on a few pics on here today but it hasn't worked.

I've downloaded the firefox plug in, when I go out in a minute I'll restart the PC so that when I'm back later I can try that.

You will only see it if the information is there, some people edit this information out so that you cant see it. If it hasnt been edited out you will see it through properties.

Not 100% sure, but r/click - Properties - Summary may only work on pics downloaded from a camera to your own PC.
 
FxIF only works if there is EXIF embedded with the image. If the creator saved it for web then it is possible the EXIF was stripped and you won't see anything. I was concerned it wasn't working at first but it was the images I was testing it on.
