Looking to hire something for Southend air show again this year.
Last year, i hired a 400mm f4 L which i used with a 40d and got some shots i was really happy with.
This year, i have a 1dii i will most likely be using, but don't really have the spare cash to hire the same lens again, so i am thinking of a 2x extender to use with my 70-200 f2.8L.
Also, i would like to buy something longer (either 300mm or 400mm), but don't see me affording either of those for as while, where as an extender i could stretch to. So it might be worthwhile hiring one to see how i get on with it.
From the little i know about extenders, am i right in thinking that the x1.4 will work with both the 5d and 1d, but the x2 will only work with the 1d?
