Extension Tubes

Hi all, just looking for some advice.

I have a Nikon D90 and a set of extension tubes I had previously for a Sony a700. Can I use the tubes on the Nikon with a special adapter or do I have to get a set for Nikon.

Any help would be appreciated.

You would need a Nikon to Sony *and* a Sony to Nikon adapters if you had no Sony fit lenses left.

Probably cheaper to get a proper set.

Just to clarify you would have a couple of options - if using Sony/Minolta lens then body - Nikon to Sony adaptor - tubes - lens.

If a nikon lens then body - Nikon to Sony adaptor - tubes - sony to nikon adaptor - lens.

Either of the above will not preserve auto focus. If you are flogging them I might be interested in the extention tubes for the sony.
