Can anyone answer me this question please,I've got the chance to photograph some adders in the next couple of weeks but don't have a macro lens, would putting a extension tube on a 70-200L lens get me some good results ?,if so can anyone recommend the size and make of the tubes,( or if you've a macro lens for sale let me know ).

Thanks

Yes, a set of Kenkos will be perfect. That's what I use on a 70-200L. Get's you down to about 1:1 if you use all three. I guess you'd only need a couple.

Tip - sounds weird, but when you get in range, try focusing with the zoom ring ;)
