I'm researching external LCDs, that attach via HDMI, for macro photography.
At first I discarded shoe mount screens due to needing a flash! This left me with only one choice the Swivi 5.6" articulating swivel screen - which actually seemed ideal, but I did not want to limit myself to one choice.
I realised there must be some kind of arm/attachments that will let me use a shoe mount screen from the tripod mount - so I'm widening my search!
Has anyone had any experience doing this? my concern is that it could be cumbersome - but without it low level macro photography will be difficult.
Laptop tethering doesn't seem to be an ideal solution either, but maybe it's not such a bad idea... hmm
