Hi folks,

Don't know if anyone has experience of Eye Fi cards and knows exactly what each one can and can't do?

I would like to be able to use one in a Canon 550D to transmit photos to a Mac over a wireless network, and also directly to an iPad. I want to do one or the other, although being able to transmit to two devices at once would be great if that's possible.

I know both these things are possible, but don't know which card to pick. The Pro and the mobile 8GB cards both seem to do what I want, but wondered if anyone had any direct experience?

The manufacturer's website didn't really help, unfortunately...

I am not sure you can transmit to 2 places at once.

All of the cards have direct mode which allows the card to create its own wifi network, but its the most expensive 8gb one that will allow RAW to be transmitted - the other models are JPG only!

When you get the card, you need to plug it into your computer and set up the devices you want to use to receive the files.
