Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a good eye-fi card to use with my Canon 5D III.

Many Thanks.

Saul.

Why not a proper/original Eye-Fi Pro X2 card?

DPReview compared one against a similar product from Transcend and the Eye-fi won convincingly.

The menu system in the 5D3 is even tailored specifically for Eye-Fi cards. Maybe it would work equally as well for other brands, but unless there is something better than an actual Eye-Fi you might as well stick with the tried and trusted brand. IMHO. ;)

Hi Tim,

This is the one I had in mind, but wasn't sure to go with the one like you suggested, or the newer Mobi Card.

Saul.

Ah, sorry. I'm not familiar with that one in any depth. I've seen it mentioned, but I believe it is less sophisticated and, for example, doesn't handle raw files. Then again I might be completely wrong as I've not paid much attention.

FWIW I do have an Eye-Fi Pro X2 8GB myself. It works fine, not that I use it often. Just make sure you have the latest firmware in the camera though, because it did cause problems with my 5D3 in the early days and a camera firmware upgrade fixed it.

Thank's Tim,

Just ordered mine.!
