Eye - Fi Cards

Hello,

just wondering if any of you that owns an eye-fi card could assist me.

I purchased a card and set it up to test on my home network, works fine, however this isn't my reason for purchase. I need to be able to use the card during events, so ran a test tonight using a different router, macbook sees the router, card assigns new wireless to eye-fi card, plug card into camera, snap away; and nothing is transferred!!

the only difference i can see is that the first router is accessing the internet but i would have thought as long as they card and macbook were using the same wireless it would transfer.

Any suggestions would be great.

You need to have the card set to favourite the router away from home.

You do it with the supplied software.

looking at the software now and can't see that option

You need to find the indivial signal the new router is putting out and set it up with it connected to the computer via the software.

When I did it I made sure my home network was off.
