my thoughts are that it looks like a nifty idea , but i wouldnt want to rely on it until its been thouroughly tested for interference issues , but it could be good for the sorts of social events where you might want to have a laptop and dyseub set up

course its no use to me because all only my 450D takes SD the others are CF , and i cant see it being of much interst to pros as top end cameras are usually bluetooth capable anyway.

It works with a SD to cf converter too
 
I know a few people that are using them and say they work well, they don't always work in a sd to cf convertor.
 
Great bit of kit. I use one in my 1D series and it's fine. Get the top of the line Pro 8Gb as the ability to use Ad Hoc networks is worth it. Range about 50m weak or 25 m strong.

They are a bit of a pain to set up, but once going a major boon to event work ( and 1/7th the cost of a WFT).
