Blooming 'eck, they're good, you can almost see it's tonsils :eek:

How on earth do you keep it in focus, I find it hard enough with a "normal" macro lens, let alone with a lens like that, impressive stuff :)

thanks for the comments (y)

All great......and that's an understatement........but No 2 just edges it for me:clap::clap:

Stunning #2 for me also :thmbs:

Thanks for all the positive comments and its nice to see the different favourite shots (y)

these are amazing! wonderful detail and the lighting is spot on.

does any one know of a nikon equivalent to the mp-e lens? or a set up to match it.
at the moment im using 3 manual extension tubes with a tokina 100mm, but its no way near as close as these.

Up untill about 4 weeks ago i was using a Nikon D300, Sigma 105mm macro, Sigma 150mm macro, PB6 bellows with a 20mm , 50mm reversed on the bellows extension tubes etc etc and i decided the only way to get the next level was to swap to canon so i could use the MP-e. I still prefer the D300 over the 50D but the MP-e is stunning

Wow!!! Amazing shots (y) it looks a bit frankenfly in 2
