Thanks @Barney . I don't mind the "type" of location at all really. What it will come down to for will be the date and distance.

I'd like mountains but there aren't any within practical commute of Essex. Indeed any that are reachable for you are going to be too far for me,
I didn't vote on that basis but would find most of your options quite acceptable if it was nearby & affordable (many sports events don't come close to affordable IMO)
