I understand. I'm 55 and avoid any motorway wherever possible on my motorbike. I have a car too so that would have been my conveyance to the meet up if I wasn't in Norway.
Went to a TP meet in Yorkshire over 10 years ago on a 250cc motorbike, and on the M1 it wasn't much fun with lorries going by as I was doing 50mph. :(

Is anyone here yet?

I didn't get there until after 12! Couldn't find anyone. Who went in the end?

Probably ought to have some TP high viz for future meets....

Sorry to miss you, Barney, Fishy and myself. We were probably in the bakery/kitchen at that time.

Really good day. Is you wife appreciative of the buttered rolls, Wayne? :D
Scoffed the lot Nige, I don't know how she stays so thin, eats nothing but cakes and biscuits. :ROFLMAO:

And a rather 'experienced' husband guiding her round.

I googled him Toni, he was the President of the Royal Photographic Society from '74 to '96.

No wonder he was chuckling away when he said is TP full of Know alls. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I hope he looks us up, if not I will send him a link, he must have a lot of insight that hopefully he would share, he had a Z6 2, but repeatedly said its not the equipment its what's between your ears.

Yes Suz, you would have laughed your head off, I walked over when I saw the camera and said "Hi is your name Suz" she said yes and we shook hands " Pleased to meet you " I said

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:Then it wasn't you.

She must have taken a thousand photo's

Wish I had seen that!

I don't know how you missed us, we did two full laps at a snails pace.

No idea. I did 2 full laps like a greased weasel between about 12.15 and 12.45. I can only think you must have been inside one of the dark buildings like the 2 storey house thing they had. I didn't go in there beyond walking through the hall bit right through it. Think it had an upstairs. There were a lot of buildings! Didn't go inside the big windmill either.

We sat at the tables outside the cafe until 11:30, then wandered through the 'fairground' and over the the cottages (one was a nail makers cottage) where we hung around in the kitchen talking about cooking and baking for around 20min. Then we gradually wander over to the windmill, leaving there about 1:15 to find some lunch.

Ah. I walked passed there at least once but didn't go in! I went in the prefab house.
