Just took this this evening, attempting to see how much of a reflection I could get in the water. Hope you like it!

 
I think that you've done a great job getting so much reflection there (y) but the focus doesn't seem right on this I'm struggling to see any part of it that correctly in focus :shrug:

What were your settings for this one?

Thanks for taking the time to comment! I sort of see what you mean, in that it's not *all* in sharp focus, but the front petals are definitely in focus (sadly not the reflection). Larger version here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mrjaba/6825562095/lightbox/

I think the problem is that I'm still learning macro photography and am never quite sure what to focus on! It was also on mf which I need more practice with. I think I needed a higher aperture for this one so that it's all sharp. Aperture was f/14, shot with the Nikkor 105mm Micro lens.

Any suggestions to improve it?
 
Actually, I think this version is a bit sharper, took two separate exposures
