Facebook online chat

This has been annoying for awhile now, even when I appear offline via my PC Chrome browser Iam pretty sure I still appear online to all my friends. Anyone know how I can make myself to be shown as offline when I want?

seriously though people see activity on FB when you click like or respond to other pages even if youre set offline on FB chat.

Have you got a smartphone with a facebook app on it? They will show you as connected to facebook.

Yeah on my iPad and iPhone. But you can't seem to change your online status on those apps?! :s

dont think it does, checked this recently while sat next to the OH

if you have the list down the right hand side of your friends

underneath your friends is a box called search then a cog next to that then a arrow with a bracket click the cog and click available to chat to remove the tick this will show you as offline

but doing this you will not be able to see whos online yourself
