facebook page how do i get mine

Ive just noticed that bigbrother have there own facebook page as in facebook.com/bigbrother but how do i get mine as i cant go facebook.com/mybusinessname :shrug: any suggestions please

Go to your own facebook account, then in "info" tab in the middle.

And towards the middle bottom would be contact info section. There is a Edit link near it. From there you can create a facebook.com/mybusinssname if it hasn't been taken.
 
I already have the name but dont know where to go to make it so that people can just type facebook.com/myname if i try that it just fails and i dont seem to be able to locate where you say it is :thinking:

Open the big brother facebook page, and on the left hand side (underneath where it shows how many people like this) you will see it says create a page for my business.

If you click on this, and you will have a choice of opening an official page or a community page (I cant remember the difference) - I think I set mine up as an official page.

My only suggestion is that you use a different (and preferably disposable) email address from your usual facebook account.

I already have my personal facebook page AND my business facebook page i just dont know how to have it so people can can just type facebook/mybusinessname :shrug: as the likes of bigbrother have it.

There is a setting, I forgot where it is. One moment, there might be a link from another forum explaining.

The last time I did one you needed to have 25 fans.

i just did that trouble is i didnt realise i was already signed in with my personal one (not that i can sign in sepearatly with my business one:bang:) so now it looks as though im stuck with what ive just done now unless i can delete it and reapply it :shrug: jeeeez i wish it wasnt so confusing:thinking:

Sounds like you have a profile for you personally and a page for your business?

You can apply a username for each by using that link above. If you have accidentally assigned your business name to your personal profile you can email facebook via the contact us and get them to switch it.
 
How do I change my username?
You can change your username from the Settings tab of the Account Settings page. Scroll down to "Username" and click "change." Then follow the on-screen directions. Keep in mind you will only be able to change your username once.
