No
I've setup a JOIN tab on my Facebook page so that it's the first page new visitors see if they click through to my page (from outside of FB only, I think...).

It's just a quick image I've put on there for now as I've got to head out to work, but in general is this idea nice or not...? I know splash pages can be very annoying on websites in general (I hate them) but on a FB page I wondered if it might have more of a draw to give the person visiting an idea of what your photography is all about without having to start clicking on tabs and galleries - and it looks cleaner than jumping straight in to the wall I think.

So, ignoring the image that is currently there as I can make a decent one later, what do we think of a JOIN tab or splash page as the first page visitors see?

I was thinking you were talking about a splash page on your website for your facebook group but having seen what you mean I think it's actually quite a good idea :)

Ah right sorry if I didn't explain it very clearly :)

I'm 50/50 at the mo. I think once I have a better image there it will be ok as I can mention that the FB page will get occasional exclusive images that won't appear on the blog or my site etc

funny, I was thinking of copying too :D

I really should get around to setting mine up :S

I'll join yours as soon as I get home :D

So how do you set up a join tab then?
