I just finished shooting for a mate who wants final images on facebook but when uploading final image the quality was really bad and grainy. So I resized the images to 600x400 hoping facebook would cope but once again poor quality. In the past I uploaded to flickr and then got my mates to save the image on flickr and upload it themselves and they had no issues at all with ful res images? Do you think its just FB playing up and to try again later or has anyone got a cure for my issue. Many thanks.
 
I've found out that not using the fast uploader tends to give better results!
 
I would like to know the answer to this, as some recent images I have uploaded to FB are carp.
 
The uploader has been replaced recently and the old one crashed virtually every time on the Mac.
 
So is there any way to use the old uploader for better results? Should this work?
 
I don't understand why FB allow you to upload up to about 8mb images if they're not going to display them properly, i always resize mine to 800mp on the longest size like i do for here.
 
Thanks for all the advice. I used the simple uploader (for the last hour for 11 images) and now they are all up full res. :) cheers all :thumbs:
