A warranty for a Nikon camera is not transferrable on selling it on? I have just been searching for information, but to be honest i am more confused than ever!

I see ads saying 18 months warranty still to run etc. Others say warranty available for xx£s. Can anyone help.

thanks Brian

As far as I know if you have registered the camera with Nikon you cannot transfer the warranty.

If you sold it the new owner would have to get you to do it.

I'm pretty sure what he's trying to say is that the previous owner would have to masquerade as the current owner in the event of any warrant works required.
So buy or sell from someone benevolent !!

Right! i understand it now, cheers:)
