Took this today at the fair that had came to town (Leeds Valentines Fair)

I felt it worked at the time as when I used higher exposure it didn't feel gloomy enough as I was going for a derelict feel ill post up the standard exposed picture on Sunday see how you like it , I'm also working on the images on an ups screen , so the exposure levels will be brighter to me than to soneone using a standard 60 Hz vga monitor , but like I said ill post it see how you feel about it
 
Brighter is better - but I find I can't focus on anything as everything is just so far away. Potentially lots of interesting details, so I would focus on them than trying to go for the entire scene.

Ahh thanks for that mate, Im new to the B+W side of things im not usually a fan of them but i thought to make this scene gloomy it would fit well , thanks for the tips though

To much sky and nothing really catches the eye. So not for me.

ahh sorry i suppose its the same as the above comment ,
