Falconry Centre visit (lots of images !)

The first barn owl shot is a bit soft, otherwise very well captured!

How good are you with a clone tool? Perhaps clone out those legs ties?

I pressume he was showing his age and meant OOF...out of focus....or I am showing my ignorance and he meant something totaly different


yes, I agree the static set are better, but I think these are pretty stunning for in flight shots, like I say the only thing that spoils them is the tethers.

Love number 4 - is that a bald eagle?

It's always a tough call whether to remove the jessies or not. I leave in on some and not others. It's obvious they are captive birds if they are left in the picture, which is no bad thing...

4th for me too, could possibly use a touch of shadow/highlight or levels & brightness/contrast but a really well framed & captured shot, very nicely done
I'd be tempted to sharpen your images a bit more though as they look a little soft IMO.
