Falkirk Reflections

Couldn't resist a wee trip to Falkirk on the way back from the Trossachs. The Wheel and Kelpies have been done to death but I still enjoy a visit.

Those reflections are just sublime, especially the Kelpies.

Great reflections for both of them Simon, and I particularly like your composition for the Kelpies and your use of the curved walkway. Hadn't realised that the wheel was lit up like that at night, so I'll need to think about it when next in the area.

Both very nice Simon, lovely colours of Kelpies and the wheel. I've only seen the Kelpies during the day and they are actually very beautiful during the daytime as well close up.

Lovely shots. The second one should be an album cover. I'd be tempted to crop a bit off the left though, maybe make it 5x7.

Probably impossible but a couple of steps to the left would have made the second one look like the infinity mirror effect thing they have (or had, last time I was up there!) in the Camera Obscura building in Edinburgh. Like the balance of the Kelpies against the light polluted sky as well as the single reflection.

A couple of steps left is the middle of the canal. I agree that would be the best shot and have thought about bridging the canal somehow.
