Fancy a bit more zoom.. (grey import)

Looking at the Nikon 55-300mm to potentially replace my 55-200mm

Digitalrev has it at the minute at £185.

Should I go for it? I understand I wont get Nikon warranty, is there anything else that should stop me?

Where a warranty is concerned, I think buying a lens from HK is OK but I wouldn't buy a body. I bought the Sigma "Bigma" 50-500 from OneStop Digital and it arrived within days and was in perfect condition and in perfect working order.

I considered that the £200 I saved by buying grey would go towards cost of repair if that were ever to happen, and I think that's the point.

I'm having second thoughts now, going to wait till I've moved.
