Farol Pier (Dos Hangers)

A Lowlight photo of the Dos Hangers pier on Farol went tits up on the colour so I made it B&W.

Note: My sensor was well dusty even after a clean before I left (wheich only appeared on long exposures!) I'll be cleaning it up further later on in the week, I just wanted an idea of the composition ect.

Composition wise, I think you would have been better positioned lower to avoid the pier running directly into the horizon, particularly in a black and white shot of limited contrast. The pier is also too central and i'd like to see it on a horizontal and vertical third. I'd also be inclined to clone on the left which can be distracting. I'm not a fan of black and white on this shot either if i'm honest.

Cheers for the Imput, it's wierd getting used to thinking about the obvious like the horizon line with the pier. I'll have a tweak about with the colour and the cloning out of the left for you.

It's lacking impact for me, I would have got in nice and tight to it, and had it lead down third, maybe go for a long exposure.
