ooo my first thread in People & Portraits I think

Anyway, I went to a fashion show in Bradford a few weeks back, that was showcasing some fashion students work. I have never shot anything like this before and it was ok once I got some settings sorted and got into the flow. The lighting wasnt easy though and I was sat on the floor about 2 feet lower than the catwalk, so the angle was a bit strange - and the poor kit lens on the 350D didnt like the conditions much and they all needed a fair bit of sharpening afterwards.

Phew for a moment I thought you'd lost it.... blokes in bedsheets and boxers...

Now a girlie out of a panto with moth eaten legs, but at least its a she.

Both technically good shots tho. Spot on sharp, but both a tad yellow (lighting)

Not sure her clothes are that much more wearable, but really like the shot!

Actually I liked the 1st shot too ... despite the fact the the guy in the middle looks like he just escaped from a mental hospital!
