Fashion Show

Am hopefully heading off to a major fashion show soon.....wondering which would be the best lens to take or hire.....usual scene on catwalk with blackened audiance area and high key lighting on cat walk.........thoughts please?

I shot a fashion show when I was at college, so it wasn't a major one. Light will be low, so take either a fast lens or a stabilised one - I think I used my 70-300VR the most.

70-200 and monopod are pretty much standard issue for these things.

You're really at the mercy of the lighting guys.

70-200 or if your able to get real close, have a second body with a fast wide angle for something different.
