fashion style image [please crit]

Just wondered if you could give me a crit on this shot. Lit with a shoot thru and bare speedlight behind.

Please be honest as its the only way I'll improve

Its a nice image but I find the crop and highlights distracting...

Would using a reflector to bounce some stray light on side of her face been better??

I am sure others will give you some better ideas..

thanks for the feedback,
I think some of the detail has been lost due to me bumping the contrast quite high.
I was aiming for a a dj magazine style image.

anyone else?

I like the composition alot, quite a moody shot, well done.

My only comment is I would have got reduced the skin shine, when you take a real close look at the image the models lipstick looks a little off par.

- dont get rid of shine totally, just soften it a little imo. Also, I lke the crop and the contrast and highlights, its a subject that works whilst breaking all the usual rules.

her eye is awful, I find that blue thing very disturbing. Second for me are highlights on her lips and chin. Besides that you are in good starting point

All ok, apart from the sweaty skin again, and I have to agree with robsohn, her eye looks awful, sorry
