As I have just got my 7D I find that my current CF cards are not clearing the buffer as fast as I would like as the highest speed I currently have is 80x. This was never really a problem with my 5DMk2 and my current CF cards even though they are not particularly fast.
I am thinking of buying a couple of Lexar 4GB 233x Professional as these give a write speed of 35MB/s which although are 10MB/s less than the Sandisk Extreme IV and the Lexar 300x Professional Cards are still considerably faster than my current cards.
They are a little quicker than the Sandisk Extreme III series which are 30MB/s.
The Lexar 4GB 233x Professional CF Cards seem to be by far the best value for money currently at £20 each delivered, whereas the 8GB cards are £49 and the latest 300x (45MB/s) cards are £36 for the 4GB and £61 for the 8GB.
Has anyone any experience of these cards?
