Fast zoom lens for my son

Any suggestions on a 2nd hand or new lens for my son.

I previously had a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM which i loved and guess would be what he wants

He will be using on his Nikon D5300 and mainly for taking photos of dear and our labs in action, so better sticking with the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM or any other suggestions.

Top budget will be £800

The Tamron 70-200 f2.8 USD is meant to be very good, cheapest I can see is £850 new but that means that second hand should be a good deal less than your £800 budget.
