Father Christmas arrived late - Olympus OM-D

Yes
Following a recent trip to Australia, I was very impressed with my cousins OM-D.
We did a few photo shoots around Perth, and I liked the flexibility and portability that the OM-D offered.
In hindsight I should have bought the camera in Oz, as it was up for grabs at a very reasonable price in high street retailers.
However, I got home before Christmas and decided to source within the UK.
The camera and lens came via ProCamera Shop - I had never used them before, and some online research suggested that I had nothing to worry about.
I can back that up now, as they were easy to deal with, and after ordering on Friday, it was delivered today (Monday).
Filter and memory card came via ebay.
Here is what I got (charger and battery elsewhere! ;) )

Looking forward to trying the kit out soon

Congratulations Andrew, get yourself over to the OM-D thread too ;-)

Ahh and the Leica 25mm too, this lens stays pretty much on my OMD too

Thanks Julian, I shall go and search out the OM-D thread.

Did a bit of research on what second lens to go for, and this seemed like a cracker (a bit more than I really wanted to pay, but the quality is worth it)

I'm looking for an OM-D at the moment, they seem very, very cheap. Is it UK stock? If so, have you claimed your free 45mm 1.8 yet?

No it isn't.
A UK OM-D and kit lens (like mine) is about £1100

I paid almost £1200 including the Leica lens :D

Thanks, I think I will stick with a UK sourced one, the price differential is completely wiped out when you factor in the free 45mm (which I would have purchased anyway).
