I have an old Canon 300d, been well used and packed up on me, not sure what the problem is, not had it checked, shutter seems to open and close but no photo is taken. I upgraded to a 50d a couple of years ago and the 30d has been sat upstairs, just wondering if it would be worth selling - in people's opinions would it sell, for parts or repair maybe?
 
30D or 300D ? the former might be woth something, the latter is only worth 80 odd quid fully working - though someone might buy it for parts for a tenner or something
 
yeah but then empty boxes go for more than a tenner on ebay - thats the magical land of stupid bidding. Fact remains that fully working 300Ds go for about 80-100 quid depending on condition so you won't get a lot for a knackered one
