Faulty Fujfilm XT-1 grip

Ive purchased a secondhand grip and I'm not sure if it's faulty or something in the settings etc...

The camera screen only show one battery instead of two? The only button that works on the grip is AF-L the rest don't, shutter, AE-L etc.....any ideas??

Check that the pins are clean

You have removed the rubber covering over the contact pins on the base of the camera I presume? There's a slot for holding it safe on the grip.

I tried all off the above and still no joy so I sent it back, another one order from ebay..

That's unfortunate, hopefully you get a refund without hassle. I'm always wary of buying anything from ebay
