FD-EF Adaptors

I'd go glassless Rick...despite the fact that infinity focus will be lost. I'm assuming birds are going to be the main target? If so, you'll need to get reasonably close for normal birds with 300mm and my quick calculation gives you infinity at around 7.5 metres...probably still further away than you'll want to be.

Why not get one that has a removable lens, then you can try it both ways and judge for yourself.

I bought one with a lens in almost 3 years ago and have never looked back, I get very decent images that easily print to A4 and have around 35 A4 prints on my living room wall.

didnt know you could get one like that, I have ordered one with out glass, only £10 and they do one with glass for under £15, so I will see how it goes and maybe end up with both, thanks for the replys
