No teeth - I've left those behind in retirement. The pink of the tongue shows in the lower beak and that is the equivalent of your palate.

Noisy - but like most fledgelings -f luffy and cute

Thanks for the comments - for once, one that really pleased me. The critter was a great character - seeing off older cousins . . . had its perch and wasn't being moved. What made me chuckle was that the moment no one was watching, just bent down and tucked in without assistance!
