Feeding the Family

I think this is a family of Moorhens - spotted them while out for a walk along the river today. Mum was reaching for bread from the water thrown to her by passers by while Dad was busy to-ing and fro-ing with more food for the hungry mouths. Counted at least 5 little beaks poking out.

The chicks were lovely, and yes the dad was running up and down getting food for them all, it was lovely to see
