I don't know but nature can be cruel by human standards .Will it be able to get rid of it ? What if it can't?
I hope soThe tick will drop off, probably leaving no lasting effects on the Robin unless there is disease or infection, which is unlikely. Major damage is done to small animals (and birds) when the infestation is great and anaemia results. Looking at the size of the tick, I think it would drop off in a day or so -- I think the Robin will be fine.
